We had made our first visit to Dr. Vivek Salunke on 8th June since my wife was facing some lower abdominal pain. After going through USG, Dr. Salunke suggested us for laproscopic myomectamy which my wife had undertaken on 26th July, 2024 at Lilavati Hospital. Doctor was very patient and kind enough to reply to all our queries and concern and completed the surgery with utmost care. Dr. Vivek Salunke and his team of doctors, nurses went beyond the dept of the ocean to see that I was taken care of. He is truly a gem and his expertise in the endometriosis field is really impeccable. For those suffering from painful periods or extended menstrual cycles, spotting during ovulation etc. I impress upon you to please do not ignore these symptoms. Take a Pelvis ultrasound and MRI and diagnose yourself! If you do have this condition “endometriosis” sprung up upon you, I would suggest no other Doctor to go to other than Dr. Vivek Salunke. I was facing the above symptoms in the last 2 cycles of my periods and went to a couple of gynaecologists but did not seem confident with them. I was referred to Dr. Salunke by my childhood friend’s uncle who is also a Doctor and I believe this was the best recommendation ever. I was diagnosed with a fibroid that had become large and DIE Bowel Endometriosis. Dr. Salunke and his manager Priyanka were always ensuring the best treatment for me pre-opt and during my stay at Nalini Speciality Hospital as well. Under Doctor’s guidance i underwent a Hysteroscopic Myomectomy with Laproscopic Adenomyomectomy with left Ovarian Cystectomy and DIE Excision with bowel shaving. It was quite a complicated case but Dr. Vivek Salunke and his team of doctors Dr. Shinjini Pande, Dr. Yogen Chheda and not missing out his GA team of doctors eliminated all of the above (including my fear for undertaking my first surgery) and made sure that each and every organ that was affected was cured from this disease. Its been a week since my surgery with only mild pain off pain killers and I must say that I have taken the best decision ever of undergoing both the fibroid and endometriosis excision surgeries under the guidance and hands of Dr. Vivek Salunke. I recommend him highly to anyone of you going through endometriosis, please do not ignore your symptoms.
